  • Let’s Get A Haircut (for boys)

Skill Building Buddies, working with its team of behaviorists, educators, language therapists and psychologists has developed and produced a video program to help prepare children with Autism Spectrum Disorder for a trip to the barbershop or hair salon. Developed for children developmentally aged 3-8 informs its viewers of what to expect to see and do when they get a haircut. It also models appropriate behaviors and language in a variety of typical situations people may experience while at the barbershop.

wow, I wish I had found this program sooner. I love it and I know it will help my son be more appropriate out in the community.

We found this website and love it! It has helped our son so much. We were so sad to find the videos not working this morning. Hopefully this is just temporary. I wanted to encourage you regarding your sight and to thank you for your efforts here. Many are benefitting from them. Much gratitude!
